Mid America Route 66 Nationals Returns to Claremore June 17-21

Automotive enthusiasts from across the country are expected to cruise into Claremore this week as the Mid America Route 66 Nationals returns to the Claremore Expo Center.
The annual event, scheduled for June 17-21, has expanded beyond its Ford and Shelby roots to welcome a wider variety of makes and models throughout many of its activities. Headquartered at the Claremore Expo Center located at 400 Veterans Parkway, the event features a packed schedule that includes open track sessions at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, drag racing at Tulsa Raceway Park, cruise-ins, swap meets and a Sunday all-makes car show. Please note that Wednesday’s events include memorabilia, a participant reunion, early registration and an early tech inspection for Hallett.
One of the most popular attractions is the Route 66 Festival, held Thursday and Friday evenings at the Claremore Expo Center. Festival activities include live music, food trucks, a kids zone and opportunities to admire an impressive collection of vehicles. Attendees can also enjoy cruising along historic Route 66 and exploring exhibits throughout the Expo Center.
Thursday’s festivities include a Route 66 cruise from Rogers Point to the Claremore Expo Center, followed by the evening festival. Friday offers additional track action at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit and another evening of entertainment at the Expo Center. Saturday shifts the excitement to Tulsa Raceway Park for drag racing, while Sunday concludes the weekend with the Mid America Cruise-In Show, where all makes are welcome.
The Mid America Route 66 Nationals grew from the long-running Mid America Ford & Shelby Nationals, bringing more than five decades of event experience to Claremore while helping celebrate the ongoing legacy of Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma.
Discover Rogers County is a proud sponsor of this year’s Mid America Route 66 Nationals and welcomes visitors from across the country to experience attractions, dining and hospitality throughout Rogers County while enjoying one of Oklahoma’s premier automotive events.
