A great day trip for visitors as well as locals, the Heritage Tour features some of Claremore’s own, including the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, the J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum, the Claremore Museum of History (featuring the works of Lynn Riggs), and the John Bayless Belvidere Mansion. Each of these individuals helped create the Claremore we know today, and the Heritage Tour allows us to pay tribute to their life and legacy.

Take a trip back to Oklahoma’s past and discover the cowboys, Indians and oil barons who helped shape Claremore. This itinerary is packed full of northeastern Oklahoma’s finest examples of Oklahoma history, beginning in Claremore, home of the legendary American cowboy himself, Will Rogers. Then tour Tahlequah to learn about the Cherokee Heritage and Society, complete with a “taste of Cherokee” traditional meal. Finally, explore the life of our very own Oklahoma oil barons in Ponca City and Bartlesville, visiting Woolaroc and the Marland Grand Home, also known as the “American Castle.” Lasting three nights, four days, and complete with unique meals and entertainment, the Cowboys, Indians and Oil Barons Tour is a favorite among Oklahoma travelers.

Northeast Oklahoma Route 66 VIP Tour

Introduce your group to a bit of Route 66 history with the Northeast Oklahoma Route 66 Tour, filled with iconic stops along the “Mother Road.” Embark on the Route 66 experience from Claremore and learn about Will Rogers, Oklahoma’s favorite son who called Claremore home. Then tour Miami and enjoy the Coleman Theater, the Route 66 Vintage Iron Motorcycle Museum, and the fantastic creations of Daryl Starbird’s National Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame. On day three, you will travel to see famous Route 66 stops such as the Blue Whale, Pops, and the Round Barn. Finally, witness Tulsa’s revitalization of Route 66 and the Cyrus Avery Route 66 Centennial Plaza. With plenty of great food and photo ops, the trip consists of three nights and three full days, and can be customized to accommodate your travel path.
