DESCRIPTION:The City of Claremore will host the annual 4th of July Firework Spectacular on Saturday\, June 27\, at Claremore Lake. The event is free and open to the public. \nThe park will open 6 p.m. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. at Shelter 1 (near the Lake Ranger’s office) with a flag-raising ceremony by the Claremore Fire Department\, followed by the national anthem. Music will begin at 6:45 p.m. and concessions will be available at the Lake Ranger’s office from 6 to 9:30 p.m.\, with proceeds benefiting local Boy Scout troops. \nFireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. Produced by Western Enterprise\, the 20-minute show will be displayed from Cherry Point\, north of the Lake Ranger’s office. \nTo prepare for the event\, Claremore Lake Park roads will close on Wednesday\, June 26\, at 10 p.m. Walking trails will remain open. Free parking and shuttle service will be available at Will Rogers Stampede Park\, adjacent to Claremore Lake. Limited handicapped and motorcycle parking will be available at Claremore Lake Park near the Lake Ranger’s office. \nTo ensure the safety of participants\, private fireworks\, pets\, use of public/private grills and alcoholic beverages will not be permitted at the park. Boats\, canoes and kayaks will not be allowed on the water during the event.

PRCA performances start at 8pm nightly. \nEnjoy a spectacular Fireworks Show after the performance each night\, and on Saturday night stay for live entertainment by Trett Charles\, your ticket price includes the concert! \nConcessions and beverages on site with numerous vendors offering handmade items of western wear and decor. \nParking is located at Lantow Stadium at Claremore High School\, with complimentary shuttles to and from Stampede Park. Shuttles start at 5:30pm nightly\, and last trip from Stampede Park to the stadium will be 10:15pm. \n

There will not only be plenty of beautiful dogs\, but vendors specializing in pet and show supply merchandise will be on hand as well.  There will also be a Microchip Clinic & Eye Clinic on site too. \nWith the many breeds represented and competing\, there is a category for every dog lover. This event is fun for the entire family and as always\, admission is free. Watch as the different breeds compete for the top spot in their individual category. As these breeds compete\, cheer as your favorites strut their stuff vying for the coveted Best in Show title.  There are also many other prestige awards! \nAbout the Claremore Kennel Club \nThe Claremore Kennel Club is a not-for-profit group of dog owners interested in promoting the sport of purebred dogs. Their objective is to promote the usefulness of all dogs (purebred or mixed breeds) in today’s society. Claremore Kennel Club conducts All Breed dog shows in accordance with the rules of the American Kennel Club.  They also promote cooperation and good sportsmanship among members in the training and exhibition. \nThe Claremore Kennel Club formed in 1983. The club supports the community by teaching classes in obedience\, puppy kindergarten\, and Conformation. The club also holds 2 All Breed AKC Licensed dog shows per year.\n\nThe Rogers County Fair provides the CKC with booth space to educate the public in responsible pet ownership. Members of the CKC are passionate and respectful of the AKC breed standards.  They exhibit and breed quality purebred dogs to AKC breed standards set forth by each breed’s National Dog Club.  Claremore Kennel Club does not endorse breeding and wholesaling of purebred dogs.
