DESCRIPTION:The Annual Route 66 Cruisers Car & Motorcycle Show will be held on beautiful Claremore Lake in Claremore Oklahoma\, September 28th. The cruisers will cruise into NeMar Center on Friday\, September 27 from 4-6pm\, then cruise to Claremore Lake for a free cookout for car show entries and their guest. \nSeptember 28th Car Show at Claremore Lake. There will be 37 different classes with professional judging. Specialty trophies awarded for Best Ford\, GM\, Mopar\, motorcycle\, Best Rat Rod\, Best Paint and Best of Show. A $50 QuikTrip gas card will be awarded for distance driven. Those pre-registered and traveling over 75 miles will be entered into a drawing for a free hotel room. Contestant drawings held throughout the day for cash & prizes. \nThis show benefits Children of Akdar Shrine and Local Charities.\nRegistration: Pre-register by mail postmarked by Sept. 15th\, 2024 for $20. This event is fun for the entire family and as always\, admission is free. Watch as the different breeds compete for the top spot in their individual category. As these breeds compete\, cheer as your favorites strut their stuff vying for the coveted Best in Show title.  There are also many other prestige awards! \nAbout the Claremore Kennel Club \nThe Claremore Kennel Club is a not for profit group of dog owners interested in promoting the sport of purebred dogs. Their objective is to promote the usefulness of all dogs (purebred or mixed breeds) in today’s society. Claremore Kennel Club conducts All Breed dog shows in accordance with the rules of the American Kennel Club.  They also promote cooperation and good sportsmanship among members in the training and exhibition. \nThe Claremore Kennel Club formed in 1983. The club supports the community by teaching classes in obedience\, puppy kindergarten\, and Conformation. The club also holds 2 All Breed AKC Licensed dog shows per year.\n\nThe Rogers County Fair provides the CKC with booth space to educate the public in responsible pet ownership. Members of the CKC are passionate and respectful of the AKC breed standards.  They exhibit and breed quality purebred dogs to AKC breed standards set forth by each breed’s National Dog Club.  Claremore Kennel Club does not endorse breeding and wholesaling of purebred dogs.
