From festivals and fairs to unique community gatherings, there is always something happening in Rogers County.
The Summer Barn Sale and Plant Exchange is on schedule for Thursday, June 1st, June 2nd, and June 3rd. This annual indoor benefit sale is open from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. All of the items are donations that help raise funds that 100% go directly to projects like Farming Missions, Starter Flocks, and Wool Mills in remote locations. Locally, the sale benefits Rural Veterinary Outreach and Baby Blessing Bags. Photographs will be posted the week of the sale on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ShepherdsCross
While you are shopping for a bargain inside the air-conditioned barn, be sure to also stop by the Plant Exchange. Bring a plant and take a plant home. From bulbs to herbs, there will be a variety to choose from and expand your own garden and leave something for someone else. You must be able to identify the plant you are leaving with its name, color, and planting characteristics. This is a great way to share some of your beautiful plants with someone else.
