This event will feature dozens of vintage planes touching down on the grass airstrip along the beautiful grounds of the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch. The Will Rogers & Wiley Post Fly-in is one of the largest such events in Oklahoma.
Will Rogers was America’s spokesman for the new mode of transportation, flying. Wiley Post was a piloting pioneer flying around the world twice and setting speed records. Both men died tragically in a small plane crash in 1935. Our National Day of Remembrance honors all those who have lost their lives in a small airplane crash.
