Hammett House
Serving Claremore since 1969, the Hammett House still serves all the staples that put it on the map, like pamper-fried chicken, lamb and turkey fries, and LaNelle Hammett’s signature “Skinny Soup.” The restaurant offers a daily lunch special, and the menu is constantly being expanded with new dishes. Did we mention that Hammett House is home to the 10-pound pie? Daily offerings include German chocolate, buttermilk chess, sour cream raisin, and peanut butter chocolate chip.
