Oologah Lake – Oologah
With more than 13,000 acres of water and surrounding public land, Oologah Lake offers boating, fishing, swimming, camping and seasonal hunting. Multiple recreation areas provide boat ramps, beaches, mountain biking trails, and RV and tent camping, making it a year-round getaway.
Claremore Lake & Mountain Bike Trails – Claremore
Roughly 16 miles of multi-use trails wind along the backside of Claremore Lake, welcoming mountain bikers, hikers and trail runners of all skill levels. The lake also provides fishing, kayaking and picnic areas for a full day of outdoor adventure.
Rogers Point Park – Catoosa
Located along the Verdigris River, Rogers Point Park features boat ramps, a floating dock, picnic shelters and the popular Twin Bridges Disc Golf Course. The park offers easy river access and scenic views just minutes from historic Route 66.
Robert S. Kerr Lock & Dam – Inola
Positioned along the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, the lock and dam area provides panoramic river views. Pop into the Robert F Hunter Visitor Center and try the interactive displays while you wait for a barge to pass by.
Ed Galloway’s Totem Pole Park – Foyil
Home to the world’s largest concrete totem pole, this Route 66 landmark doubles as a shaded outdoor park with picnic areas and open space, offering travelers a unique setting to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors.
