Mardi Gras on the Boulevard is a family friendly event, including your furbabies!  Businesses around Claremore are partnering up to bring you this fun and festive Mardi Gras themed day.  A walking parade along the sidewalk starts at 11 am at Hammett House and finishes at the Museum of History.  Mardi Gras Masks and attire are encouraged – pets are welcome!  Through out town, you will be able to collect beads from participating businesses with a purchase.  The shopper with the most beads at 5 pm will win a prize.  A costume contest for all ages will take place between 3pm-4:30pm.  Judging locations are at Vintique Charm in downtown and Perfect Bride located in NeMar.  At 4 pm a Car Cruise will take place in the NeMar parking lot.  For other fun things happening around town visit http://visitclaremore.com/events/
