Located in Downtown Claremore, the Lilac Festival celebrates the play write, Lynn Riggs. His play “Green Grows the Lilacs” became the basis for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Broadway hit “Oklahoma!” brining attention to Riggs’ hometown, Claremore. The festival includes fun themed activities for the whole family as well as food trucks.  The Downtown area will be shutdown to traffic to fully utilize the space and accommodate all the fun happenings!  Presented by Baker Hughes in partnership with Claremore Main Street, there will be food and fun for the whole family.
